Prototype Mold is a specialty service combining rapid prototyping techniques with more traditional plastic injection molding processes. This fast prototyping injection molding service creates injection molded plastic parts for a variety of uses.
The Prototype Mold process
Create the tooling using CNC machining or EDM machining. This is done in a fraction of the time required to create hard production tooling. The result is typically an aluminum mold. From the aluminum mold, thermoplastic material, customer required, is used to create the pieces needed. The entire process takes much less time than the traditional hard tooling with high volume injection molding process.
